A Storm

It was dark. Not the kind of darkness that vanishes when the light shines, but the kind that swallows light. Where light goes to die. A turbulent storm was the actor dancing across the screen of the night sky hiding the jewels of God’s wisdom. I stood there looking into the eye of the storm while lightning became the blood veins of madness. Streaking toward the retina. Its eye was focusing, straining for clarity, on me.

Weapons of Our Warfare

Somewhere, USA 5:00PM

 

The late afternoon sun cast its golden glow through the window, shattering all shadows. Bathing the room in a warm ray of serene peace. I love this time of day. My wife and kids should be back in the next hour, so, I began to sing praises to God. The power of God’s presence was soothing my soul. Praise turned into worship then worship into communion. God gently urged me and showed me in a vision a Preacher. (Read more…)
