Friday Night Fire

Writing by Chad on Sunday, 5 of November , 2006 at 3:34 pm

Most who know me, know, that I spent a many of Friday nights under the lights. Running and tackling with fire of desire. Burning the field with hustle and hype. That was several, several years ago. If I had then what I have now, I would not of wasted my time.

Friday night Elder R. A. Hancock came to this little town and ministered. The power of the Holy Ghost was in that place. We had maybe, 35 people there. All I could think was, what a shame! Some couldn’t make it for good reason but others just refused to come. God moved in a powerful way. It was the best place to be. Besides hearing some good preaching and singing we witnessed God speak. Most churches don’t allow the gifts of the Spirit to be in opperation. We had a message it what sounded like Cheerokee, and then an interpretation. It would have been great to record it. We didn’t. God is doing awesome things and I for one, will be part of it.

R. A. Hancock – To Preach

Writing by Chad on Thursday, 2 of November , 2006 at 11:12 am

Tomorrow night at 7:30 our church will have R. A. Hancock to minister. Everyone in the area is urged to come out and witness what will happen.

Bro. Hancock is considered a prophet by many, myself included. I’ve seen God use this man in many ways that blew my mind. I’ve witnessed a slipped disk healed, a short leg- grow, liver disease healed. The unusual thing is this, God spoke to Bro. Hancock and he explained to them what was going on with them and then prayed for them and God healed them.

Not only does God use him in the power gifts of 1 Cor 12, but also in preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His ministry has changed my life. He ministered to my wife and I at a criticle moment in our marriage. Bro. Hancock has been preaching for 49 years and has not let down on the message or the standard of holiness.
