The Word

I love the Word of God. It is full of truth. We think we read it but in reality it reads us. That is part of the reason people leave it on the shelf. It is a mirror of what it sees. Shows you who you are and how far you’ve come or the journey still ahead. Filled with promises from God for the believer. Solid is the foundation for someone to build their life on. No fine print to read so why not read it.

This is Mandy’s favorite song. Enjoy.

Real ID **UPDATE***

Writing by Chad on Monday, 12 of March , 2007 at 8:22 pm

The headline is enough to make anyone take note:
Biblical prophecy finds way to legislators in battle over ID plan. We are in prophetic times. Look around you. It is evident in just about anything. Before you go and say, “Well they’ve been saying it for over 100 years or even more!” Stop and take note. The relic that collects dust on many shelves in America is silently coming to life to the world. It prophecies of a time when economic sanctions will be placed on individuals. It is known as the “mark of the beast”. Whatever your persuasion you can’t ignore that it is happening in our day. It makes perfect sense. The “mark” is a brillant idea and it will virtually stop crime, poverty, child abductions, missing people, and more things. However, it is a deadly plan to govern not only people but the heart of man. The “mark” carries with it a pledge, a spiritual committment. Those who take the “mark” and worship the beast and his image, will be the enemies of God.

What would you do if a war so catastrophic hit our planet that it killed 1/3 of the people? Most will take the mark, begging for peace and safety. The Real ID Act is a precursor to the “mark”. Fortunately, Irvin Baxter Jr., has been on a campaign against this Act. His site is No National ID. Law makers are reading and deciding against the Real ID. Not all law makers have read but many of them still consider this Act, the deat act to personal freedom. Pray against it. The article from boston.com lays it out pretty well, one thing to keep in mind, they are not believers and tend to be very skeptical about prophecy. In an attempt to be fair they quote, Carl Raschke, “The fears are anchored in St. John’s warnings about the Roman government — which conducted census surveys in Jesus’ time — that are recorded in Revelation, he said.” Unfortunately for Carl, this prophecy wasn’t about the Roman government of that time. It was for our time.
